Hi Andrea,
I just want to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you for being part of the doggy day out 2023 event on Saturday. I don’t know about anyone else, but it felt so good to be able to be part of an event that was so positive and happy after the struggles that community events have had over the past few years with COVID and weather events. It was just great to see everyone so relaxed and having a great time with their much-loved pets, families and friends. We have had a lot of positive feedback from the community, staff and everyone involved which is fantastic. The event was only a success because everyone involved pulled together and did a great job. From the stallholders, volunteers and staff to the dogs and owners themselves, we can’t thank you enough. You really did contribute to hundreds of people and dogs having a wonderful weekend.
A lot of people were nervous that the weather would let us down. But we were very lucky and the sun came out for us, so thanks for believing in us and showing up.
We hope to see you back next year and we will be in touch soon with some dates and locations.
